Happy Thursday Morning! Make is a great day
I am having trouble sleeping tonight, so I thought I would just do the morning post now, in the dark of the night. I am so glad that the weekend is almost here. I cannot wait, so much to do, and all the time is filled. On Sunday I am going to go and see my cousin and see how tiny she looks from her plastics. She said today when I spoke to her, she can't wait till the last 3 drains are taken out and she can once again feel sorta normal. I am sure she looks terrific, she is a sweet dear person, her entire life she had battled the weight issue, now she is where she deserves to be and I am so proud of her, that everything is behind her.
Ok I am going to attempt to do a shout out so here goes
Barb S, Thank you for posting every single day your daily quotes. They are so inspiring and I don't know where you keep finding them but keep it up. Is this weekend the No Cal trip to Apple Hill? Also so happy you still love your job. How is your FIL doing, last we heard you were looking at some places for him.
Nancy, Where are you hon? Wondering if you ended up going to Stanford after all. I think there are alot of us that are anxiously awaiting to hear how Brianna is. Also you are so close to your goal, how wonderful is that?
Patsy H LBC, I know you are probably still in the hospital, but we are all sad that Dr. LePort was not able to do surgery on you. Know that everything in life happens for a reason, and it is SO much better that they found out that you had a hernia now, before it became entangled with your intestines and started to cause you some severe medical problems. We are all here for you and we are all praying that everything works out for the best. Please take care!
Rhonda, how is work going? Are you feeling any better. I hope that you are on the mend that life is treating you good. You are such a busy woman, I don't know how you keep that pace up, but God Bless you! I know that he has already with that beautiful family of yours, but one can never have too many of Gods Blessings.
Monica, I saw on FB that you have put away the Dodger hat for the season. I am so sorry that they couldn't pull it out. It would have been really nice to have a real FREEWAY SERIES, but with how the Angels are doing, I don't think that half is going to be in a series either.
Momo, been hunting off the side of the road lately, since your last kill? I can't believe how you hunt. I just could not do that and look at the animal when trying to shoot it. It would just break my heart Can you see me out there now, balling my head off crying hysterically because I shot something. Then I am sure I can't eat it. If I thought about where all my food comes from and how it gets to my table, oh YUCK! I probably would have never had a weight problem.
Rick, how goes the mouth and the oral surgery? I hope you are feeling better, and I will call you today. I just have to remember is all. I will try very hard. I am not on as many meds as I was so maybe I will be a little co-herent.
Chris, how did we do this week on the weightloss. I am so glad that you got your computer working correctly, what would we do without you and your spread sheet! Thank you for being so faithful in keep track of us loser?
Eileen, did you go anywhere for your 3 weeks....wait didn't you go to Scotland> or am I making a fool of myself? Sorry that we can't all be retired with lots of money to spend to do what we want.
Lil Michelle, how are you feeling hon? I am sure your tiny little body is still sore and bruised, but just wait for the final outsome. I can't wait to see you, please take care and do what the doctor says to do, he really DOES know more than we do!!! Even tho they are only practicing medicine. I hope that your rash is improving and it was just the antibotics after all.
Jackie, I saw your picture over on Facebook, you are looking gorgeous and it will only get better the more that you loose, You are a beautiful person inside and out and you deserve all of this.
Stacie S, how is the 5 day pouch test going? Haven't heard from you and wondering if you are still sticking to it and surviving?
Gus, it's almost here, tomorrow at this time someone will be posting it's TGIF....can you believe how fast the weeks are going, or is it just going by fast for me. You give that beautiful wife of yours a great big hug for me and whatever ou do this weekend, I hope you have a wonderful time.
Naomi, how is the shoulder doing? Haven't really seen you much on the boards, and I gotta know if that shoulder is better. It doesn't have much time for it left to get well, that knee replacement surgery is only next week. By the way, I love both of mine, and you will love yours too.
Jean L, how was the birthday yesterday, did you get some nice gifts? I wanna know
Deanna, where are you, last post of yours was Day 21 of our committment to getting back on track. I need a Deanna fix, please post, you are able to put so much emotion into your works, and just wanted you to know that you are missed.
Kevin and Kirsten, you going to make it to the coffee and lunch on Sat?
Harley and Janeene, the time is getting close for your guys to leave to Washington. I want you to know you will be missed, and that I wish you the absolute very best in your new life in your new state. You will be missed by many!!!
Ok kids I need to get to bed now. Time to pull up my feet on the recliner and gett all comfy and close my eyes. I will sleep well now, knowing that there is a morning post, even tho it is way early, it really is today!
Have a great day and do something wonderful for yourself and someone, share the job.
God Bless, Diane
Rhonda
We had a 16.7 lb loss for the week . . . and again, I apologize for not posting yesterday morning . . . I flat out didn't even know it was Wednesday! Maybe we should leave the WWW open today if anyone wants to add in . . . since I was a schmuck and forgot to post it lol!
Great shout out Diane . . . hope everyone has a GREAT day!
Chris
What a great shout out today, you did a fantastic job! Today brings work and music tonight, and I sure do need that.
I got some disturbing news from one of my cousin. One of my cousins who lives down in So Cal was just diagnosed with Colon CA. She is younger than I am. She, like me has lost both parents so her sister is flying in to be with her and I am praying that her brother and she mend a broken fence. Please keep her in thought and prayers, it would be much appreciated.
Ron's Dad is adjusting to his new home. He is sleeping a lot and truth be known I think he is just waiting to go. Very sad but I believe true, so I am praying for God's will in both cases.
Well I am late for the shower so I better get a move on. Hope everyone enjoys the day and hug someone. Also reach out to someone and forgive them, it is so important to keep our friends and relatives close, life is just too short to have bickering. I know!
Hugs,
Barb

So Diane - thanks for the great shout out you are the best and I sure hope you got some sleep. I know I did...even slept until almost 6 which as many of you know that is late for me...

Hope you finally got some sleep Diane. Maybe something was in in thee air, I could not sleep either. And I was very tired went for my afternoon walk came home made dinner and then went for another walk with the family before if got dark (just barely).
Today brings closing out my report on my last job (I hope!!). I have the exit tomorrow so I have to drive back to Petaluma for the morning. Then it the weekend! Yeah! Ms V is already talking about the pumpkins and apples we will see at Apple Hill. She is so excited. Should be a nice weekend.
Everyone have a great day.
Good morning Diane and friends,
WOW Diane, what a great shout out…you are one special lady. Thank you so much for the call yesterday. It was great hearing from you.
Barb, sorry to hear about your cousin, I will say a special prayer for her and hope that her and her brother can mend things. Life is just way too short to hold in anger.
Jean, I am so happy you had such an awesome Birthday…you so deserve it!!!
Rhonda, I hope you are feeling better with every passing day and getting in your rest. You are so funny talking about Christmas. I am the same way…I hate to do last minute shopping, but don’t get me wrong…I always seem to shop up until the last day…there is always something to get. I try to get all my shopping that needs to be mailed the first part of November so they get out on time.
Lisa, Where have you been. I hope things are going okay with you. Haven’t seen you on the board much.
Ok, as for me…today I go to the doctors and then just try to relax…I never knew how hard it is to just sit…boy, I am not used to that.
Well, hope everyone has a wonderful day…
Hugs, Michele

Yesterday I had a "Take Care of MoMo" afternoon. Went to physical therapy, went and got my eyebrow waxed down into 2 eyebrowS and got my toes done. A serious pedicure with an excellent massage. I love getting pedictures this time of year as they spend a little more time on the massage portion as there's not a line of people trying to get pedicures.
Today we go buy flooring for my kitchen. Its the last step in the kitchen and we're going to get it done next week,. I'm going with a hardwood that is called GunStock (yeah go figure a gal that kills and eats her pets goes with a color called GunStock).
Well, I'd better get to work. Yesterday was so frustrating. The Notification Clean Up team was here (closing out old work) and we had a bunch I had to deal with. Rather than just give me the paperwork and let me go to town cleaning it up (I have done this for over 9 years!) this KID sat there telling me step-by-step how to do this. And telling me the LONG way. I finally looked at her (she's about 12.......) and told her shhhhhh, watch. And I click, click, click got the info I needed, entered the info and closed out the job doing it my way and it took about HALF the time. Geeze. So I told her to go away while I did the rest. She said no, she was "REQUIRED" to sit here while I closed them out. Puhleeeese. So now me, the #1 Gas Clerk in the system with 25 years of experience is being babysat bya a TWELVE year old (ok, so she's 24, but she's a contractor and had a book of notes on how to do this stuff) and not a real employee with mega years of experience under her belt. I finally resigned myself to the babysitter and ignored her and did the work needed the way I needed to do it. I was not happy but got through it. So now I have today's work and yesterday's work to get done today.
Big Breath. Sigh. Ok, I'm better. It's just these kids that don't think us old-timers know a damn thing really **** me off. But, the puppy is gone and I am back to my normal routine.
Vitamins going in, Water going in and I am going to shake my boooo-tay sometime today.

I am so glad it is Thursday. I have had such a hard week. I hurt my back some how over the weekend because I woke up Sunday and could hardly walk. On the up side, I got my car running on Sunday night so I didn't have to walk to work on Monday. Then, Monday night, I had to take my daughter to choir practice at church and my car would not start when we had to leave. I think I figured out what is wrong with it and now I just need to get someone over there to help me re-hook up a wire that I saw that was not hooked up. It runs the fan and the belt that is attached to that fan runs the alternator. It is an easy fix...just hook up the wire and jump the car and it should be running. I just hope it works. I have been having to walk to and from work which isn't far but when your back hurts, it fills like miles. It is my lower back and I think I may have a compressed disc. I really need to go to the doctor but it is hard to do without a car. I am hoping to have that resolved by the weekend. And to top off this wonderful week I am having, I had to talk to my son's vice principle at his school. His is having some behavioral issues. I have him do some counseling with my pastor last night so I hope this helps. It is hard to raise a boy all on your own. His dad isn't in the picture and I think that is why he is acting out so much right now. I am trying to find him positive male role models at church. Even his VP has kind of taken him under his wing because he knows about his dad. It sure does help.
Enough rambling for me. I need to get to work even though it is slow right now. I am going to try and get a head start on tomorrow. We have a lot of trucks to move tomorrow. Have a blessed day everyone!!
All's quiet in San Berdoo. Mike and I both have some type of gunk. He came home with the stomach gunk yesterday and I'm coughing my lungs out. It's just been a bad few weeks healthwise in our house. I'm so tired of being tired and not feeling well. Enough already with the colds and coughs and yuckies.
But it is Thursday and that means that tomorrow is Friday and we made it through another week. Of course there is class on Saturday and then dinner with some dear, wonderful, bestest friends on Saturday night. I always enjoy our time with them. Oh and I almost forgot, we have tickets to the theater on Friday night. Duh. We are season ticket holders at the San Bernardino Theater for Performing Arts and this is our first show in our latest series. It's called Fred and Ginger. It's a show featuring all the music and dance as performed by Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers. I'm looking forward to that. Should be a good one.
Oh well time to get busy. I have some tax returns I must finish for a client this morning. They will be in shortly to pick them up. Hope everyone has a great day and be sure to do something wonderful just for yourself.
